Tip #1: Shopping for groceries
Shopping for groceries can be a drag. Who wants to spend that hard earned paycheck on milk, bread and eggs? Not me! With a few secrets from this gal, grocery shopping can take on a whole new role. Who doesn’t love a bargain? I am sure in this day and age we all do, so get your pencil and paper ready and write down my secrets…
First and foremost, make a list. Sometimes we tend to get distracted in the grocery store and may put things in our cart that we really do not need. Making a list will definitely alleviate this problem. Stick to your list and nothing will be missed.
Second, now that your list is ready it’s time to clip coupons. Coupons are money! When you get all those advertisements in the news paper or those envelopes full of coupons in the mail, don’t push them aside. These are valuable. Start clipping! Don’t subscribe to the news paper? Visit your local library and check out www.wow-coupons.com . Even if there is a coupon for something you may not need this week, save it, you never know what next week will bring.
Next, it is important to be a card member at any grocery store you shop. Stores often offer special sales for card members only. Sometimes these savings are unbelievable! Simply go to the customer service desk at your favorite grocer and sign up today. It’s that easy!
On a final note, make sure you eat before shopping. This will greatly reduce the unwanted junk that often ends up in our cart when we shop on an empty tank. Going right from work? Pick up a pack of crackers at the gas station or eat the apple you have left from lunch. This tip will save you tons!
